Pool Cover In Mijas

A heated pool must be covered at night and when not in use and ACAIR offers a wide range of pool covers, some for heat retention, others for safety and others for keeping your pool clean. Some good Automatic Pool Covers will perform all these functions.

ACAIR have installed thousands of Pool Covers in Malaga and the Costa Del Sol (including east of Málaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Mijas Costa, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Nueva Andalucía, San Pedro, Benahavis, Estepona, Casares, Sotogrande, Tarifa and also inland Málaga, mainly around Alhaurin and Coin).

The ideal solution to maintain the heat in the pool, the children out and the pool clean is an electrically-operated automatic cover that lasts, and looks neat, indefinitely. There are 2 types: the PVC slats or the vinyl sheet. Both are excellent heat retention covers, good safety systems though the vinyl type is better for keeping the pool clean. The main makes we work with are Abriblue and CAP Covers. Some of these covers are even powered by solar energy.

If a pool is in construction, a box can be built on the end to house the automatic cover. For existing pools, the cover can either be installed submerged at the bottom of the deep end of the pool or housed in a bench installed at the end of the pool.

The most common economical manual cover is the blue “bubble wrap” style which is normally supplied with a nylon hem to strengthen it and a portable stainless steel roller on castors to make application and removal simple for just one person. The roller will last indefinitely and the new resistant 600 micron covers can last as much as 10 years if kept out of the sun in the summer months when not being used.
