POOL COVERS
A heated pool must be covered at night and on days of non-use and ACAIR offers a wide range of pool covers, some for heat retention and others for other purposes such as keeping leaves out of the pool during the winter and stopping children or dogs from falling into an empty pool.
The most common form of heat retention cover is the blue "bubble wrap" style although the children can't pop those bubbles which is normally supplied with a nylon hem to strengthen it and a portable stainless steel roller on castors to make application and removal simple for just one person. Although the roller will last indefinitely, the covers last a maximum of three seasons as the ultra-violet solar rays perish them, even if they are kept out of the sun during the summer months.

| The ideal solution to maintain the heat in a pool is an electrically-operated automatic cover that lasts, and looks neat, indefinitely. These are, in fact, large roller blinds of rigid PVC slats that roll on to the pool's surface at the touch of a button and also offer the security feature of enabling children to stand on them safely. |

| If a pool is in construction, a box can be built on the end to house the automatic cover. For existing pools, the cover can either be installed submerged at the bottom of the deep end of the pool or housed in a bench installed at the end of the pool. |
